We provide two types of private cloud: in the form of a managed OpenStack installation on dedicated hardware, or as a pool of dedicated compute nodes within our public cloud.
Managed OpenStack installation is highly customizable. You will use OpenStack API and Horizon dashboard to control the cloud.
A pool of dedicated compute nodes within our public cloud is slightly less flexible compared to dedicated installation, but can be set up much faster. You will be able to manage your dedicated resources through our Customer Portal or OpenStack API as if they were in the public cloud.
Dedicated servers and physically isolated network provide enterprise- level security.
As physical hardware is dedicated to your private cloud, you know exact measurements, e.g., processors physical cores clock speeds.
Depending on a type of private cloud you choose, you will be able to use OpenStack API, Horizon dashboard and Servers.com Customer Portal to manage your resources and control the cloud.
